Abstract: 

The people"s presence in extended elections for selecting one or more person to deposit their destiny for a distinct time is indicative of people"s sensitivity for their future destination. The more this sensitivity is, the more they present In elections. In this paper the quantity and quality of the presence of the inhabitants of Sistan & Baluchestan has been studied and the author tried to show the relation between the increase of this sensitivity and participation in the elections. Also the interactions between main political nations, groups (parties) in this provience and elected candidate tendency to special commission in the parliament in attention to the divestment of this provience and changing this variation in the recent time have been discussed.

Abstract: 

The present study is focused on the species belonging to the genus Maiestas Distant, 1917 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae, Deltocephalini) in Iran, based on some specimens collected during 2016 to 2019 from Southeast Iran and species that have been previously reported: M. horvathi (Then, 1896), M. pruthii (Metcalf, 1967), M. schmidtgeni (Wagner, 1939), and M. trifasciata (Lindberg, 1954). M. pruthii, previously known from the Oriental region (India and Pakistan), is recorded for the first time in the Palaearctic region from Southeast Iran and M. horvathi is a new record for the fauna of Sistan and Baluchestan province. An identification key and distribution maps for the Iranian Maiestas species are provided.

Abstract: 

This survey was carried out seasonally from June 2009 to June 2010 to indentify and determine fish diversity of Sarbaz River, Sistan and Baluchestan province.  Ten sampling stations were detected along the Sarbaz River with different elevation of 20 to 862 meters above sea level, of which 5 stations were located upper the Pishin Dam and the other 5 stations were located on the down the dame. After capturing the fish using Electroshocker, the samples were transfer to the laboratory for species identification, biometery and data analysis. In total 514 fishes were captured which 12 species were identified. They were belonged to seven families of Cyprinidae, Gobiidae, Balitoridae, Channidae, Cyprinodontidae, Poeciliidae and Mugilidae. Among the identified species, 72% were from Cyprinidae, 12% from Gobiidae, 9% from Channidae, 7% from Balitoridae and 0.01% from Cyprinodontidae family. Three identified species of Gambusia holbrooki, Liza abu and Cyprinus carpio were exotic.

Abstract: 

Coastal zone is an area between two ecosystems with independent characteristics, which is considered as a separate planning unit. In this area, the analysis of natural hazards is an essential tool in decision-making, planning and prioritization of crisis management actions. The most important action in this analysis is determining the types of hazards. In this study, the investigation of natural hazards in the coastal zone of Sistan and Baluchistan province related to the objectives of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) plan was carried out. For this purpose, firstly all possible hazards in coastal zone were determined using the Delphi method and classified after identifying the scope of its impact. In order to analyze the influence area of each hazards, all related activities were identified and their influence was determined by forming a hazard-use matrix. Finally, an overall map was prepared by overlaying layers in GIS, and the number of all hazards which threaten activities was determined. The results showed that the largest number of hazards are located in the western part of Sistan & Baluchistan coastal zone between Pozm Bay and Khor-e Maydani. Also, Tsunami and sand dunes are two dangerous hazard, which affect all activities. Among all possible landuse, agricultural and dry farming are more affected activities by natural hazards. The results of this study, by determining of hazard influence areas and by using them in determining the vulnerability of coastal zone, will cause the environmental management plan (EMP) of the study area prepared with a wider range of information and development measures will lead to a safer development in this region.

Abstract: 

Identification of seaweed in Sistan & Baluchestan province was carried out from Gwatr area (with 25°, 10´ N , 61°, 30´ E) to Mydani (25°, 24´ N, 59°, 5´ E) during one year (starting from December 1998 to November 1999). Seasonally sampling in subtidal area (by diving) and monthly sampling in interidal area, were done. The samples were transfered to the lab and fixed with formalin 4%. The seaweed were recognized according to the present references. The photographs were taken and herbarium sheet obtained. The samples were send to experts (such as Dr. Tesng from China, Dr. Wynne from USA and Ms. Qari from Pakistan) for final approval. During this research 83 species (68 of which were recognized as species and 15 as genus) were identified. Among identified seaweeds, there are some important ones such as: Green seaweed (Ulvaceae, Ulvales); Red seaweed (Gigartinales, Gilidaceae, N emalia1es, Hypneaceae, Gracilariaceae) and Brown seaweed (Sargaceae, Fucales).

Abstract: 

The identification of marine algae in the Sistan and Baluchestan province were performed from December 1998 to November 1999 at the coastal area of Gwatr (25 10´ N; 61 30´ E) and Mydani (25 24´ N; 59 5´ E). Data on vegetation were gathered in subtidal and intertidal zones by seasonal and monthly sampling, respectively. Samples were transferred to the laboratory and fixed in 4% formalin. According to some references the marine algae were recognized. Also, the herbarium sheet and algal photos were obtained. To final approval, the prepared samples were send to scientific centers of America, Chana and Pakistan (Wynn; Tseng & Qari, 1999). There are a number of genera and species of main algae consisting of Ulvaceae in green algae, Gildiaceae, Gracilariacea and Hypneacea in Red algae and Sarggaceae in brown algae.

Abstract: 

The province of Sistan & Baluchestan, having beautiful and various geomorphologic sites, could be considered as one of the tourist attractions in Iran which draws many geotourists to this region: Mud volcanoes are among the most important geomorphologic attractions which are very interesting, fresh and eye-catching. The best-known mud volcanoes are Napag, Pirgel, Ain and Borborook. Each of these, according to its characteristics and functions has certain attraction for geotourists and can bring benefits to this province through attracting tourists, and be considered as a profitable economical choice. The aim of this paper is, through describing the features and functions of significant mud volcanoes, to draw the officials and researchers, attention to the geotourist importance and role of mud volcanoes, so that a strategy is taken to develop this unprivileged region.

Abstract: 

DEVELOPMENT IS NOT ONLY AN ECONOMIC PHENOMENON. IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATIONS, MOST COUNTRIES NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO OTHER ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION. THIS ARTICLE AIMS TO MEASURE AND RANK RELATIVE LEVEL OF EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN SISTAN AND BALUCHISTAN (S&B) province, IRAN USING 18 EDUCATIONAL INDICATORS. AN APPLIED, DESCRIPTIVE, DOCUMENTARY, AND ANALYTICAL STUDY WAS PERFORMED. DOCUMENTARY METHOD AND S&B EDUCATION STATISTICS WERE UTILIZED TO COLLECT THE DATA. WE ALSO USED MORRIS MODEL TO ANALYZE DATA AND DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATIONAL RANKS, AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN VARIABLES. THEN, WE RATED EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN SEVEN MENTIONED CITIES IN S&B BY CREATING VALUES IN ARCGIS. CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, FINDINGS INDICATE THAT ZAHEDAN SCORED THE TOP, WHILE NIKSHAHR RANKED THE LAST. AS A RESULT, AN INEQUALITY IS FOUND AMONG THESE CITIES AND PLANNING IS FELT EVER THAN BEFORE TO REDUCE SUCH INEQUALITY.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to present a method based on global and experimental algorithms for estimating relative humidity in Sistan and Baluchestan province. For this purpose, Terra MODIS images and products (MOD05, MOD07) of 10-years (1-Jan-2009 to 31-Des-2018) under cloudless conditions were used as selected data. To validate the obtained layers (near ground surface temperature, ground surface pressure, total perceptible water, TPW, and relative humidity), the ground station and the radio sound data were used. The R2 and REMS values of the recorded layers from the sensor and the ground data were acceptable and the sensed data were in good agreement with ground station measurements. Results show that the altitude factor play an important role in temperature measurement. The minimum amount of TPW has been recorded to be 6 mm in the Khash, Mir Java and Saravan regions in the cold season and the maximum amount of TPW has been recorded to be 49 mm in the coastal areas in the warm season. The average relative humidity in the province is in equilibrium in the cold season, while it is out of equilibrium in the hot season, so that it is above 60% on the coast of Oman and less than 10% in the central province (Khash, Mir Java and Zahedan).

Abstract: 

This paper has compared and studied technical efficiencies of two farmer groups in the Sistan and Baluchestan province, one of which had borrowed some loan and the other had not, using data from 180 farmer-operators during the farming year of 2002-3 and applying the function of borderline production. As shown in the results, the borrowing group proved to have had a higher efficiency and used efficiently its accessible resources. Finally, considering the study results, a number of recommendations has been presented.
